Cypress School District is committed to providing accurate and transparent information regarding COVID-19 cases in our schools while also maintaining privacy and confidentiality for our students and staff. The data below represents the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases over the last 14 days among district students and staff regardless of where the virus was contracted. This data will be updated regularly as cases are confirmed. In the event of a positive case, a general notification will be sent to the school community.

Reporting Instructions for Families
If your child has a suspected or confirmed case of COVID-19 or is awaiting test results, please contact the school office and DO NOT send your child to school. 
 
If your child has been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19, he/she may attend school in person but should test 3-5 days after last exposure and should wear a well-fitting mask around others for a total of 10 days, especially while indoors.
 
COVID-19 symptoms include:
  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea
