For projects that require prequalification pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.6, the prime contractor and, if utilized, all electrical, mechanical, and plumbing subcontractors (licensed pursuant to section 7058 of the Business and Professions Code- specifically, contractors holding C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and C-46 licenses) must be prequalified. This prequalification requirement applies even if the subcontractor will perform, or is designated to perform, work that does not require one of the licenses listed above, but the subcontractor holds one of the licenses listed above.
The District, in its sole discretion, may require bidders to be prequalified pursuant to Public Contract Code section 20111.5 for certain projects.
Prequalification Questionnaires will be available via email from Cindy Leighton at Schoolhaus Advisors beginning on Thursday, September 20, 2018. Contact Cindy at email@example.com to obtain a copy.
Hard copies of completed questionnaires will be received until 9:00 am on Thursday, October 11, 2018, only via mail, messenger or personal delivery at the District Office located at 9470 Moody Street, Cypress, CA 90630, attention Teresa Lennox.
Once submittals have been evaluated, bidders will be notified of their prequalification status. Once prequalified, such prequalification shall be valid for one calendar year. Please note that this will be the only opportunity for prime contractors and subcontractors to be prequalified for projects that the District determines to require prequalification under Public Contract Code section 20111.5 or 20111.6 during this time period. Prime contractors and subcontractors that are interested in bidding any District projects during this time period are urged to submit Prequalification Questionnaires pursuant to this advertisement.
