Flexible Spending Accounts

The district offers two types of Flexible Spending Accounts administered by P&A Group:
  • Health FSA
  • Dependent Care Assistance FSA
 
ELIGIBILITY
  • Certificated employees working more than 92.5 days per year
  • Classified employees working 4 or more hours per day
 
HEALTH FSA
Maximum Annual Contribution:  $2,750
 
Eligible expenses include medical/dental deductibles or copays, prescriptions, and glasses for you and your dependents.   Click here for a list of eligible expenses
 
The entire annual election amount will be available for reimbursement at the beginning of the plan year. At the end of the plan year, unused funds up to $500 may be rolled over to the next year. Any funds in excess of $500 will be forfeited. 
 
DEPENDENT CARE ASSISTANCE FSA
Maximum Annual Contribution:  $5,000 ($2,500 if married and filing separately)
 
Eligible expenses are defined as those that enable you (and your spouse) to work, look for work, or be a full-time student.
 
You can only be reimbursed up to the amount you’ve accumulated in your account — a pay-as-you-go approach.
