The district offers two types of Flexible Spending Accounts administered by
P&A Group:
- Health FSA
- Dependent Care Assistance FSA
HEALTH FSA
Maximum Annual Contribution: $2,750
The entire annual election amount will be available for reimbursement at the beginning of the plan year. At the end of the plan year, unused funds up to $500 may be rolled over to the next year. Any funds in excess of $500 will be forfeited.
DEPENDENT CARE ASSISTANCE FSA
Maximum Annual Contribution: $5,000 ($2,500 if married and filing separately)
Eligible expenses are defined as those that enable you (and your spouse) to work, look for work, or be a full-time student.
You can only be reimbursed up to the amount you’ve accumulated in your account — a pay-as-you-go approach.
