DISTRIBUTION OF FLYERS
Cypress School District is now using Peachjar to provide electronic communication to parents. Peachjar's flyer management system sends full-color digital flyers directly to parents' inboxes and posts them on the schools’ websites.
Organizations directly connected to the Cypress School District (PTAs, school foundations, etc.) should contact the school office to request distribution of flyers and other information. Distribution will be at the discretion of the school principal.
Per Board Policy
, the district may approve the distribution of noncommercial
materials that publicize services, special events, public meetings, or other gatherings of interest to students or parents/guardians.
Organizations wishing to distribute flyers to families in the Cypress School District must first register as a "Program Provider" with Peachjar. Peachjar charges a nominal fee
to Program Providers for flyers promoting programs/activities for which there is a participation fee.

All flyers submitted through Peachjar are forwarded to district administration for approval. Flyer requests are typically processed within five working days, excluding holidays and district-observed breaks.
Flyers are only distributed on Saturdays with each school's weekly announcements. Therefore, community organizations must set their target distribution date on a Saturday. Flyers with other distribution dates will be rejected and will have to be resubmitted. Please be sure to upload your flyer at least five days in advance of your distribution date to ensure enough time for review and approval.
No paper flyers will be distributed.
- Only flyers from qualified nonprofit organizations will be distributed. The nonprofit organization must be the lead organization for the program or activity.
- All flyers must bear the name and contact information of the sponsoring organization.
- The following disclaimer will be added by Peachjar to the bottom of all flyers: Cypress School District neither endorses nor sponsors the organization or activity represented in this material. The district accepts no liability or responsibility for the program/activity. The distribution or display of this material is provided as a community service.
DISPLAY OF BANNERS/SIGNS
Cypress School District desires to promote positive relationships between the schools and community organizations. Just as community organizations can build support for the schools, the schools can cooperate with these groups under certain circumstances by publicizing services, special events, and public meetings of interest to students and parents/guardians.
