The Child Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals dedicated to student health and well-being. Our department is committed to providing healthy meals and snacks to the students of the Cypress School District in order to support their academic success and promote lifelong healthful eating habits. We provide more than 2,500 meals and snacks per day to students and staff throughout the district.
School meals are served to students under the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. Following the nutrition guidelines prescribed by the Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act of 2010, we serve whole grain-rich products, a variety of seasonal fruits and vegetables, low and fat-free milk, and 100% fruit and/or vegetable juices.
